Have you ever heard of Hagi? Hagi is a Japanese Bush Clover adorned with beautiful purple flowers that bloom at the end of summer, with the fall as the peak viewing time! This flower is the symbol of the city, and has long been cherished by the people of Sendai. The Yasouen Botanical Garden features a whopping 1300 bush clovers and hosts the Hagi Festival celebrating the blooming flowers.
